Education Department Finalizes Repeal of 2024 Title IX Rule, Restores Prior Regulations
The Education Department has published a final rule repealing its 2024 Title IX regulations and restoring the regulatory text that predated that rulemaking. The move follows nationwide vacatur of the 2024 rule, which the Department says it has not enforced for more than a year and a half.
