SBA Proposes New Size Standards for 338 Industries, Citing 37,000 Newly Eligible Small Businesses
The Small Business Administration proposed new size standards for 338 industry groups on August 20, a change SBA estimates would make roughly 37,002 additional firms eligible as small businesses. Those firms held more than $71 billion in FY 2025 federal contracts. Comments are due September 21, 2026.
