The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published a proposed rule on June 26, 2026 that would update the End-Stage Renal Disease Prospective Payment System for calendar year 2027, revise AKI dialysis payment rates, and modify ESRD Quality Incentive Program requirements.
