Army Department Publishes Performance Review Board Membership Notice

Defense Department notice discloses names of officials serving on Army's senior executive review panel

FMG Newsroom2 min read

The Department of the Army, under the Department of Defense, has published a notice in the Federal Register identifying the members of its Performance Review Board (PRB). The notice, dated October 26, 2026, fulfills a standard administrative requirement for federal agencies to disclose PRB membership.

Performance Review Boards are responsible for reviewing performance appraisals of senior executives and providing recommendations on performance ratings, bonuses, and other personnel actions. Publication of PRB membership is a routine but legally required transparency measure for federal agencies.

For government contractors, this notice itself carries no direct programmatic or acquisition impact. However, PRB membership can offer visibility into which senior Army officials hold influence over leadership evaluations within the department, information that may be useful context for firms tracking personnel dynamics in Army acquisition and program offices.
